Intellectual Property & Copyright

Unless otherwise noted, I, Tom Wright, am the legal copyright holder of all photographic and written material on this blog. You may not use, reprint, reproduce, copy, modify, adapt, publish, sell, rent, or sub-license such material without my express written consent. Removal of any watermarks or copyright notices from images is strictly prohibited. Unauthorized use of images for commercial or promotional purposes is strictly prohibited.

All rights are reserved except as explicitly granted under Licensing Terms.

Licensing Terms

Permitted Personal Use

I grant visitors a limited, non-exclusive, and non-transferable license to view, download, and print photographs for personal, non-commercial use. This license does not include the right to modify, sell, or distribute any works for profit.

Permitted Use for Baseball Clubs

I proudly support the Wisconsin baseball community. I grant amateur and semi-professional baseball clubs limited license to use my photography for promotional purposes (e.g. team websites, social media, and printed materials) provided:

Photographs featuring players, facilities, or games in progress are related to your ballclub.
Attribution is included in proximity to the photo(s). State “Photo by Tom Wright”, or “Photo by Wisconsin Field of Nine“, or include a weblink to the blog post. If proper attribution is a challenge, contact me to seek approval.
Photographs are not modified, sold, re-licensed, or used for commercial gain.

Commercial Use

I grant permission for commercial use provided a formal, written licensing agreement is in place, and all applicable licensing and fees are paid in full prior to use.

To request a commercial license or inquire about rates and availability, contact me using the “Contact Me” form. Include details regarding your intended use, duration, and distribution.

Fair Use

All team and league information, sports logos, sports uniforms and names contained within this site are properties of their respective leagues, teams, ownership groups and/or organizations, and may not be reproduced in any form without the permission of said entity. Copyrighted material is presented here under “fair use” and all attempts have been made to credit copyright holders.

If you are the owner of any images presented here and wish to have them credited or removed, please contact me using the “Contact Me” form.

Reader Contributions

By posting comments or uploading content, you grant Wisconsin Field of Nine a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, and worldwide license to use, reproduce, and edit your content in any and all forms on this website.

Warranties: You warrant that you own the rights to any content you post and that it does not infringe on any third-party’s intellectual property.

Prohibitions: You are prohibited from posting any material that is unlawful, defamatory, offensive, or political.

I reserve the right to remove any content at my sole discretion.

Limitation of Liability

Standard Clauses

Governing Law and Venue: These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the State of Wisconsin. You irrevocably agree that the exclusive venue for any legal action or proceeding related to Wisconsin Field of Nine shall be the Waukesha County Circuit Court. You hereby waive any objection to such jurisdiction and venue on the grounds of an inconvenient forum.

Termination of access: I reserve the right at my discretion, to suspend or terminate access to the website at any time and without prior notice.

Amendments: I reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms and Conditions at any time at our sole discretion.
