2026-05-27 Clyman at Hartford (RRL)

Like usual, night games with a 7:30 start time provides a limited opportunity for quality photos. There are a few decent photos from the game’s action, but there are a few blurry ones too because some movements are challenging to capture at night games.

Unfortunately for the home team, this wasn’t their night. For the visiting Canners, they got a combination of strong pitching and lots of hits.

Clyman got things started with a Cameron Kranz solo homer to right field. In the following inning, the Canners added to their lead by scoring 5 more through a combination of 3 walks, 3 doubles, and an error. Another double and single widened their lead in the 5th.

In the bottom of the 7th, Hartford scored their only run on a ground out that was preceded by a HBP and walk.

Clyman wrapped up scoring with another run in the top of the 8th on a walk, single, another walk, and finally a HBP.

Final score: Clyman 8 – Hartford 1.

Clyman pitchers stymied Hartford with 18 K’s, but also scattered 11 base on balls. At the dish, Cameron Kranz went 4-4 with 2 doubles, a home run, 5 RBIs, and a run scored. The Hurtgens, Jacob and Calvin, each had two singles and a double, and a run scored.
