2026-06-25 Cazenovia Reds at Arena Aces (HTL)

I dun a bad thing. More on that in a moment.

After seeing a couple innings of the Stoughton / Albion game, I hiked up and across to catch my first game in Arena. I was really intending to stay home, but after a series of messages with the Cazenovia Reds FB admins, I decided to venture off to see these two teams play for the first time.

When I arrived in Arena, the game was an inning or so in. I was surprised (but really shouldn’t be) by the fan following that showed up for this Thursday evening game. There is something special about the Hwy 14 contingent of Home Talent League teams. Each team’s fan following is impressive!

If you take a look at the photos from this game, something will be glaringly obvious. There are photos of the Arena pitcher – quite a few of them in fact. And, there are quite a few of the Cazenovia pitcher and a few hitters. But, that is it! Somehow in my post processing workflow, I accidently deleted all the Arena batters, most of the Cazenovia batters, and all the fielding plays. I didn’t even get the photo of the Reds’ bus. I took about 550 photos and this, I am afraid, is all I have to show for it. I even tried some file recovery software, but struck out.

That is the first time that has happened. I don’t like it. So, I guess I am just going to have to hit another Arena game and another Cazenovia game.

As far as the game itself goes, all I can tell you is Arena won 6-4.

  • If you are interested in a high resolution photo, ask me.
  • I probably have many more photos from the game. If you are looking for photos of a particular player, ask me.

  • I attend games per my schedule.  Upon request, I can make myself available to shoot specific ballgames for a reasonable fee.
  • I am always interested in adding to my Wisconsin baseball memorabilia collection – especially schedules, programs, photos, RPPC (real-photo) postcards, etc. Other unique items are of interest too, especially pre-1970.
