In this Tuesday night matchup, the Columbus Crawdads hosted the visiting Poynette Indians in Sunday League Home Talent League play.
The trio of Crawdads pitchers, including Trace Kirchberg, Eliot Turnquist and James Mobry IV, held the Indians hitless while Columbus hitters swatted a dozen hits and mustered one fewer runs including 3 doubles (Mobry – 2, Ethan Stai). Despite being hitless Poynette managed to scrape together a single tally in the 3rd inning.
James Mobry IV led the hit attack by going 4-4 with two singles and two doubles, a walk, two RBIS, and 3 runs scored. Ryan Schulte, Ethan Stai, and Alex Watrud added a pair of hits apeice, and Schulte and Watrud further contributed with two RBIS each.
Final score: Columbus 11 – Poynette 1
Nice sunny skies provided enough light to capture several innings of play. Later innings required a higher ISO, which resulted in lower image quality. You may notice as you view the images.
