2026-05-22 Sussex vs Milwaukee @ Lannon (LOL)

Another night game and overcast skies created a photography challenge that was dealt with by increasing the ISO camera settings. This leads to more grainy photos, but all in all, I managed a few decent photos of the nights action between the Sussex Cardinals and Milwaukee Beavers in Lannon.

Some day I’m going to for over a couple bucks ot get Milwaukee’s red T-shirt – neat logo.

Anyhow, in hte early innings the score teeetered back and forth as Sussex plated a run in the top of the 2nd. Milwaukee responded with a pair of runs in the bottom of the 2nd and added another run in the bottom of the 3rd.

The old adage, “walks ‘ll kill ya” came true in the top of the 4th and 5th as Sussex scored twice when a pair of walks was followed by a double. And, in the 5th, four walks and a single resulted in three more runs for the Cards.

Scoring for the game was wrapped up in the bottom of the 6th as Milwaukee scored on an error that was preceeded by a walk sandwiched between a pair of singles.

Thereafteer, it was 3-up & 3-down except for the bottom of the 8th where the Beavers threatened by loading the bases before ending the inning on a ground-out.

Nice night for a ballgame.
