2026-06-18 Columbus vs Sun Prairie at Marshall (HTL)

The Columbus Crawdads met up with the Sun Prairie Red Birds for a Thursday night Home Talent League contest at Marshall’s Fireman’s Park.

The Crawdads jumped out to an early lead by putting up a four spot in the top of the fourth. A series of timely hits including a double by Matt Miller led the attack.

In the bottom of the fifth, the Red Birds managed to plate a run, but that was offset by another pair of runs for the Crawdads in the top of the 6th. Columbus made things interesting in the bottom of the 6th by adding three runs to make it 6-4 going into the 7th inning.

Columbus added a much needed three spot in the top of the 7th because Sun Prairie added three more in the bottom of the 7th before Columbus pitching ended the threat.

Final Score: Columbus 9 – Sun Prairie 7
